Kukoos: Lost Pets Sets Out On A Family-Friendly Adventure

Kukoos: Lost Pets is out now, and this bubbly platformer is aiming to add some color to family game night.

Seeing as we can’t exactly queue up the kids for a game of Tarkov on their festive holidays, it’s probably worth considering something a bit jollier. As if somebody timed it for exactly this reason, publisher Modus Games and developer PetitFabrik have just released Kukoos: Lost Pets. This adorable cartoon platformer is available right now across PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Beckoning players of all ages to load up and get after some adorable animals, this vibrant-looking platformer invites players to take control of a vast variety of characters in a journey to save a vibrant world and bring harmony back to the ancient Kukoo Tree. When this crucial point in the world is taken over by brainwashed pets, it’s up to anybody brave enough to lead a gaggle of friends into the unknown to restore order to their home.

Along the way, expect bubbly landscapes, bright critters, plenty of unusual powers, and the odd joke as players take on a range of environments and platforming challenges solo or with friends. Up to 4 players can join the fight in co-op mode, team up with their pets, put down nefarious boss battles, or race to rescue even more pets from incarceration.

If your looking for something new that is more like the recent Spongebob remakes than Doom then Kukoos: Lost Pets is out now across Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Steam. Find out more on the official website.
