Late yesterday afternoon, Nintendo took to the airwaves with the latest Nintendo Direct and, boy, was it a whopper! The company made some huge announcements with a lot of the games headed out to players very soon. So without further ado, here we go!
During the 40-minute Nintendo Direct presentation, five trailers were shown.
Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition for Switch
MONOLITHSOFT’s classic RPG will be reborn as Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition when it arrives next year!
Return of the Obra Dinn for Switch
Pokemon Sword & Shield for Nintendo Switch
Get a look at the Pokemon Camp, the Surprise Trade feature, and the Galar region as well as two new Pokemon! Pokemon Sword & Shield releases on November 15th.
Overwatch Legendary Edition for Switch
Overwatch Legendary Edition will be arriving on Nintendo Switch on October 15th. “Choose your hero, travel the world and get ready for exhilarating 6-v-6 combat.”
Animal Crossing: New Horizon for Switch
“Join the Deserted Island Getaway Package by Nook Inc, and start a relaxing new life full of creativity, charm and the freedom in this next installment in the core Animal Crossing series, launching for Nintendo Switch on March 20, 2020.”
Luigi’s Mansion 3
“Every floor of the haunted hotel in Luigi’s Mansion 3 is a different theme, including the pyramid setting of Tomb Suites, a disco floor and a pirate-themed restaurant. In the newly announced ScreamPark party mode, two to eight players can battle against each other as a Luigi team and a Gooigi team even with only one Nintendo Switch system. The teams will compete to see who can defeat the most ghosts, collect the most coins or break the most targets. Luigi’s Mansion 3 opens the doors of its haunted hotel on Oct. 31.”
Super Kirby Clash “Free to Start” Game RELEASED
Super Kirby Clash is a “free to start” multiplayer action game that has already been released. The new game is a sequel to the 3DS game, Team Kirby Clash Deluxe.
There is a lot to do in Super Kirby Clash including over 100 quests, defeating bosses, multiple roles to try, and much, much more.
