League of Legends Wild Rift Gets New Content With Patch 2.6

Riot Games announced that Patch 2.6 is making its way to mobile MOBA League of Legends: Wild Rift on December 2nd (or 3rd, depending on your timezone), featuring new champions, updates, skins and surprises.

Dr. Mundo is getting Visual and Gameplay Update (VGU) in Wild Rift. The mad doctor’s looks and gameplay have been updated, so Mundo can go even more where he pleases.

Patch 2.6 also will introduce the Path of Justice event, allowing players to explore the animosity between sisters Morgana and Kayle – the latest champions joining Wild Rift.

“They are just like your typical sisters… yaknow, sisters born from the Aspect of Justice who just can’t seem to see eye to eye. Typical sibling stuff if you ask me.”

Additionally, the team is introducing a variety of Quality of Life changes:

  • Intentional Losing Detection – the team tweaked some things behind the scenes to take more action against players who intentionally lose games
  • Updates to New Player Experience – When your friends install Wild Rift for the first time, they’ll have something to get excited about with the new expanded mission track themed around Jinx!
  • New Skins – Wild Rift is getting a variety of new skins, including a few from Crystal Rose and PROJECT universes
