Developer Riot Games released a couple of trailers for CCG Legends of Runeterra to introduce players to the upcoming characters, just about ready to join the roster of the game: a yordle champion Norra and Grandmaster at Arms Jax. Both will be arriving in Awakening, the latest expansion releasing on August 31.
Previously the team had revealed that Master Yi and Shieda Kayn will be joining Awakening as well.
Unmatched in both his skill with unique armaments and his biting sarcasm, Jax is the last known weapons master of Icathia. After his homeland was laid low by its own hubris in unleashing the Void, Jax and his kind vowed to protect what little remained.
“Even if you fall, your fightin’ spirit’ll keep on goin’!”
Yordle Norra is the first original champion making appearance in Legends of Runeterra. Like most yordles, she belongs to Bandle City. But it doesn’t mean she’s a lonely old lady, for she has her protector and friend, magical cat Yuumi – are you ready to move onward to new adventures, together?
