Hexworks and CI Games have announced that their ambitious Souls-like ARPG, Lords of the Fallen, has sold over a million copies. The game launched a mere ten days ago, averaging 100,000 copies sold per day across several platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. That’s pretty impressive by anyone’s metric.
In a new press announcement, CI Games CEO Marek Tyminski wrote, “Lords of the Fallen is the most important and ambitious game we’ve developed in our 20-year history and the first in our new planned AAA pipeline of games in the years ahead. To see this fresh and innovative take on the action RPG achieve one million sales in just ten days has been humbling for everybody at Hexworks and CI Games.”
Resting on laurels isn’t in the developers’ bag either. Over the 10-days since launch, the dev team has pushed out several patches and hotfixes that address performance, the imminent reactivation of crossplay between consoles and PCs, and have even added new features, including New Game Plus mode and more.
