The Legend Dawn pack DLC is available now, adding some legendary new characters for One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4.
Luffy and co get some new compatriots today now the latest DLC for Pirate Warriors 4. The Legend Dawn pack arrives as part of the Character pass 2 and includes a total of three new and formidable faces, as well as unlocking the ‘Path of the King of the Pirates & Soul Map 3’ episode.
New Crew
Anybody letting down the gangplank for the additional arrivals will get to try out Gol D. Roger, Rayleigh (Roger Pirates First Mate) and Garp (Hero of the Marines) in their youthful prime.
- Gol D. Roger, captain of the Roger Pirates, even held the title of Pirate King and possessed the One Piece. He is considered one of the strongest pirates of all time, an unstoppable force!
- Rayleigh (Roger Pirates First Mate) is a highly skilled swordsman and the cunning commander of the Rogers Pirates crew as the First Mate of Gol D. Roger.
- Garp (Hero of the Marines), who is the long-time respected rival of Gol D. Roger, is a formidable fighter in hand-to-hand combat.
The new update also unlocks the third Soul Map. This side quest, of sorts, provides an avenue for players to leap in and enhance their existing characters. Even characters who have maxed out their Growth Map will be able to spend acquired souls to acquire new skills and enhance existing stats. Each Soul Map unlocks anew set of islands to jump in and explore, picking your route through a range of seriously powerful challenges is worth the effort, if you’re looking to keep that power up arc going.
This is just the latest update to One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4, the hack and slash series that pits the Straw hats and other crews against hordes of enemies. Think an anime enhanced version of Dynasty Warriors. Just one in a range of spin offs that take inspiration from the hit anime series, this pirate loving brawler is already available across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC, and compatible with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
