New Games on Nintendo Switch This Week – Rolling Rocks and Necromancy

There are new games on the Nintendo Switch eShop! This week, new games for the switch fall all across the board.  we have tower defense games, RTS games, exploration games and many more that will keep Switch gamers busy for hours.  For those that missed it, My Nintendo’s May Rewards consist of free wallpaper and calendar for fans of BOXBOY! + BOXGIRL! There are also 30% off coupons for fantastic 3DS games like Metroid: Samus Returns, and Xenoblade Chronicles 3D.  Below is a list of notable games to check out this week!

Evil Defenders

Release: May 14th

For tower defense fans, Evil Defenders has your number.  You must build, upgrade, and protect your towers and ladmarks to defend your world from the potentially heroic invaders.  With over 90 levels and five different regions, let your evil shine through and collect over 100 in-game achievements.




Rock of Ages 2: Bigger & Boulder

Release: May 14th

Fans of the original Rock of Ages will not be surprised to find that a sequel not only has been made, but it’s BIGGER and BOULDER than ever. Despite enjoyable rock puns, Rock of Ages 2’s action/strategy gameplay now factors in a chaotic 2 – vs – 2 multiplayer mode that will delight fans both new and old. Let the hilarity ensue through the ages, as historical figures are met as you, quite literally, rock and roll through the ages. Sniper Elite V2 Remastered

Release: May 14th

Sniper fans rejoice, as Sniper Elite V2 Remastered has come to the Nintendo Switch!  The award-winning third-person shooter is available with all of its DLC included. Hailed as one of the most authentic sniping games ever made, stopping Nazi’s from destroying the world has never been so satisfying. Release: May 15th

Strategy, Action, RPG, a Necromancer needs not these things, yet as a Necromancer in Undead Horde, you have all of these things!  Undead horde allows you to raise the dead and lead an army of the post-living through the land for loot and glory. Will you become victorious with a host of re-animated minions? Only you can answer that question in a game that is sure to delight on the Nintendo Switch.




In Case You Missed It: Saints Row: The Third – The Full Package

Release: May 10th

If you have enjoyed Grand Theft Auto, but you have yet to hear of its zanier cousin Saints Row, there is no better time like the present to pop over to the Nintendo eShop and check out Saints Row: The Third, and the FULL PACKAGE of DLC.  Drive cars, find weird weapons and claim the city for yourself in a game that still seems to hit the spot for intense, open-world action.
