Next-level Zombie Carnage Coming to Arizona Sunshine 2 in December

There’s no better time to announce next-level zombie carnage than the days surrounding Halloween. Vertigo Games has announced that Arizona Sunshine 2 is going to drop in for VR action starting December 7, 2023. The game is being prepped for multiple platforms including PlayStation VR2, Meta Quest, and Steam VR. Pre-orders have opened and players can pre-purchase a copy for $49.99.

AS2 is the sequel to the fan-favorite VR game that lets players get up close and personal with their zombie foes. You know…if that’s your thing. Players will enjoy the same snarky quips from the dark-humored protagonist as players set off for a limb-strewn adventure.

Developers are excited about today’s announcement and have shown their joy with a new trailer showcasing what players can expect.

And what’s better than braving the end of the f*cking world? Surviving it with your new best friend–Buddy. Not only is Buddy your four-legged companion through thick and thin, he’s also the goodest boy and will help take down those pesky Freds for you. And that’s not all, because fan-favorite co-op mode makes its return as well. In a desolate world, suddenly you’re not so alone anymore. It’s funny how things go.

Features include:

  • Form an unexpected friendship as you set out on a cinematic VR journey of intense survival
  • Experience the thrill of combat as you physically wield weapons, from shotguns to machetes–and flamethrowers
  • Explore gore-geous, next-gen VR environments, all the way to the end of the f*cking world
  • Discover all the ways to slay a Fred through a brand-new, next-gen mutilation and gore system
  • Co-op mode makes its return
