We’ve seen a huge range of giant robots cleave their way through enemies over the years, from the Gundam franchise to the upcoming Zone of the Enders 2 remaster. If you just can’t wait until the end of the year, then Omnibion War might be the perfect solution.
Unveiled by publisher 1C and Developed by Chile’s Crazy Bullet Studio, Omniobion War is a frantic 3D space-based shooter, due to land on PCs soon. While mecha anime probably peaked in the early 2000s, the video game scene has had a bit of a resurgence of late. Omnibion War looks to ride that wave of M particles and straps players in for a wild ride full of space flight, massive explosions, and flashy graphics.
Taking place just five years after an intergalactic war, a new threat emerges and players must take up arms to stop this new foe from securing a weapon of immeasurable power. Aiding you in your fight is the A.A.V.G gunship, an advanced vehicle that includes the ability to switch between mech and jet mode, while you take on thousands of enemies. If you are ready to enlist then you can check out the reveal trailer and find out more on the official Steam page.
