A couple of weeks ago developer Blizzard Entertainment introduced a new character that will be joining the roster of Overwatch 2. Back then, the team let players know what to expect from the new Omnic tank and the leader of the Null Sector that is on a mission to create a better world for Omnics… no matter what it takes. Now the time has come to see what the new character plays like with the release of the Ramattra gameplay trailer that you can find above.
Originally a war machine, Ramattra shed his munitions for a shield to protect his people by promoting peace and tranquility. His ideals weren’t far removed from his fellow Shambli monk, Zenyatta. However, Ramattra’s story is one of hardships, trauma, and a magnified view of humanity’s harsh realities. Over time his views turned to a more pragmatic angle.
As the leader of Null Sector, Ramattra boasts incredible support from his people, and he is primed to impose his philosophies on our world. Ramattra will be joining the roster of Overwatch 2 in Season Two, starting December 6. When it comes to gameplay, Ramattra combines various lethal playstyles as he transitions between his Omnic and Nemesis forms.
