Developer Ubisoft held the reveal panel for the new Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege season titled Operation Deep Freeze. The new season kicks off on November 28th, while the test servers will be available on November 13th.
“Operation Deep Freeze is almost here, bringing the new Portuguese Operator, Tubarão, a distinct defender with the coolest gadget yet, the Zoto Canister! For this Season, a brand new Ranked Map, Lair along with a new Versus AI Playlist for training, full Controller remapping as well as balancing changes and quality of life features to bring new challenges your way.”
A new Operator named Tubarão joins the Defenders with a powerful loadout. His Zoto Canister is a throwable device that can can slow enemies, freeze devices to pause their deployment and prevent use. It can even leave footprints behind if the frozen area is walked on.
The new season is also bringing a new map – Lair – a military installation built into a cavern where Deimos plots his assaults. Map Run mode will give players additional ways to learn the callouts and room names of key maps. Meanwhile, Versus AI will pit you against a team of AI Defenders to work on your site-cracking tactics.
Last but not least, Ubisoft also revealed the Rainbow Six Siege Street Fighter Bundle. Get ready to boot up and hit the streets with two bundles featuring characters from Street Fighter 6: Ying as Chun-Li and Grim as Ryu!
