To celebrate the Star Wars day, Disney+ released the Star Wars: Visions Volume 2, featuring nine new shorts from nine celebrated animation studios from across the globe. What better way to celebrate a beloved franchise than to dive into some brand new stories, adding to it from unexpected and unexplored angles?
“Star Wars: Visions” stretches beyond any one form of animation and serves as a broader framework for celebratory expressions of Star Wars storytelling. Volume 2 will showcase that potential as the shorts go on a global tour, celebrating the incredible animation happening across countries and cultures, through the mythos of Star Wars.”
Star Wars: Visions is an animated anthology series that consists of various original stories within or inspired by the Star Wars universe. The first volume launched in September 2021 and consisted of 9 episodes coming from 7 studios. Volume 2 released today and features 9 episodes by 9 different authors:

- “In the Stars” by Punkrobot
- “I Am Your Mother” by Aardman
- “Journey to the Dark Head” by Studio Mir
- “The Spy Dancer” by Studio La Cachette

- “The Pit” by D’Art Shtajio and Lucasfilm
- “Aau’s Song” by Triggerfish
