Disney and Gameloft have announced that Disney Dreamlight Valley has been updated with the Festival of Friendship patch. Players will find tons of new content to explore, quests to complete, and a new Centennial Star Path to unlock incredible rewards. In addition, players can make friends with Mirabel from Encanto and Olaf from Frozen.
Part of the Festival of Friendship allows players to celebrate 100 years of Disney. The Centennial Star Path allows them to unlock themed cosmetic goodies that bring fond memories of days gone by.
For 100 years, Disney has tapped into the spirit of creativity and imagination to delight audiences of all ages around the world. It’s time to celebrate that legacy with the all-new Centennial Star Path! Spend time with your Disney friends in the game, take selfies, and mine gems to unlock all-new clothing and furniture items. The new Star Path also features new Dream Styles for both Mickey and Minnie.
The Festival of Friendship sets players off on a series of quests to shed light on the mysteries of the Frosted Heights. As players know, this location in DDV is constantly in blizzard conditions. Olaf is at the center of the mystery. According to devs, as players help Olaf, they’ll uncover what’s behind these mysterious blizzards and learn more about “the Forgetting.”
Players can also welcome Mirabel and her “iconic Mini-Casita” to the valley. Players will need to find her by discovering the power of friendship so she can come to the Village.
“The introduction of fan favorites Mirabel and Olaf in ‘A Festival of Friendship’ will give players the chance to not only make friends with these very iconic Disney characters, but also dive deeper into how friendship and identity are at the core of their unique story arcs,” says Nicholas Mainville, Game Director. “The launch of the all-new Disney Centennial Star Path also brings a ton of unique and exclusive cosmetics into the game that will let fans celebrate this momentous occasion throughout 2023 and beyond.”
