Genshin Impact has kicked off the second phase of Version 3.6: Parade of Providence which introduced two new playable Dendro characters into the game. While Kaveh is busy with the flagship event, Baizhu received his story quest that sheds some light on his motives, past and relationship with the mysterious snake Changsheng.

When it comes to the game, Baizhu is certainly not a newcomer, having been around for a long while alongside with Qiqi. However, he has only become playable a couple of days ago with the latest Genshin banner.
Baizhu is a Catalyst & a Dendro support character who can both shield and heal his teammates. His Elemental Skill will unleash a Gossamer Sprite to pursue nearby opponents, dealing several instances of Dendro damage before returning to him and restoring HP to all nearby party members.
When his Elemental Burst is unleashed, Baizhu will periodically generate a Seamless Shield. When the Seamless Shield’s effects expire, or when it is shattered, it will heal Baizhu’s own active character and unleash Spiritvein attacks against nearby opponents.
Sadly, Changsheng does not play an important part in his kit – but you can hear her quips from time to time!
