Following the introduction of the Kunoichi, developer SHADE Inc. and publisher D3PUBLISHER have shared 10 minutes long footage of Samurai Maiden’s gameplay. Viewers can catch a glimpse of exploration, battles, using special abilities and much more. At some point, Tsumigi and her three companions take on a boss surrounded with his undead cronies.
In Samurai Maiden, a young woman from the 21st century finds herself stuck in the Sengoku period. Thankfully, she has sharp swordsmanship skills that allow her to take control of the situation. Together with a trio of newfound ninja friends, she races through the Underworld beneath Honnō-ji, confronted by enraged corpses at every turn. Nothing can stop this all-female powerhouse team, as the samurai slashes up enemies while the ninja wipe them out with their fierce ninjutsu.
Previously, the developers have also shared more on the three kunoichi, accompanying Tsumugi Tamaori on this journey: nimble Iyo as well as as Hagane & Komimi. Iyo is adept with gunpowder, bombs and kunai; Hagane can extend and contract her right arm at will and also emit a high-voltage current; last but not least, Komimi is a master of magic that will be able to support you in battle.
