The developers of action-RPG Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin have shared a new trailer for the Wanderer of the Rift DLC that is available now on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Epic Games Store.
This is the tale of what happened after the adventurers fell to become the Gods of chaos. A fray in the fabric of dimensions reveals the Rift Labyrinth along with a new challenger. Join Jack and his team as they battle the mighty Gilgamesh! Wielding swords and spears in both hands, Gilgamesh battles Jack and his comrades with an abundance of dynamic attacks.
The Wanderer of the Rift DLC also provides new gameplay: The Rift Labyrinth, a fray in the fabric of dimensions. A new story plays out as you conquer a series of randomly constructed short dungeons.
Those who were not challenged enough can unlock the new Blue Mage job after progressing a certain way through the Rift Labyrinth, learn new Dimension Bringer command and even try their luck on the new GILGAMESH level of difficulty that will see you tested. Enemy levels are raised further, meaning that even more fearsome foes will appear to threaten Jack and friends.
Developed by Koei Tecmo Games and Team Ninja and published by the series long standing publisher Square Enix, the newest Final Fantasy game is not a prequel or a remake of an older title. This alternative account takes the Final Fantasy series back to earlier days and puts players in the role of protagonist Jack. Alongside his allies, this warrior is initially tied up with the fate of early Final Fantasy boss Chaos, but things might not go the way players are expecting.
