Super Meat Boy Forever Bounces Onto Mobile

Super Meat Boy Forever is about to steak a claim for mobile domination when it launches across iOS and Android on 20 April.

Dr. Fetus may have a brand new scheme for PC platforms, but players on the daily grind can soon pickup and play Super Meat Boy Forever to. Due to arrive in just under a month’s time thanks to Team Meat and Thunderful, this dicey platforming adventure will tenderize your mobile mashers for a paltry price.

Costing $0.99 or local equivalent, this port of the DATE title will contain the full game, o ads, no micro-transactions, just pure Meat Boy joy on a phone. This new incarnation of our skinless hero follows on from previous Meat Boy encounters. This time you’ll Meat Boy and Bandage Girl as they embark on a hazardous quest to save their daughter, Nugget, from the nefarious Dr. Fetus. Whether you do so from the comfort of your front room, on a plane, or the toilet, we know what to expect. Randomly generated levels will present a new challenge each time around. The fleshy heroes must run, jump, and traverse a range of deadly traps, buzzsaws, spikes, and other horrific traps all chunked together in innumerable new ways.

Aside from being an utterly groyious return for a much loved character and series, this port looks likely to be very well done. It’s rare to see us so excited but you can check out the official trailer for Super Meat Boy Forever before it lands on mobile for naught much more than a few grams of well cured steak.
