Get ready to run and gun, swipe, and explode some wildlife in roguish survival adventure Extremely Powerful Capybaras. Announced by PM Studios and available today on Steam, this cartoonish tirade of silliness morphs a Vampire Survivors feel with adorable cartoon comrades and magical powers, and waves of enemies.
The new time survivor roguelite doesn’t give much explanation as to why exactly you’re going to be facing a variety of enemies, but either way its all about not becoming food for the hordes of bipedal fish heads and drooling zombies. A hue array of silly sounding enemies will try to take you down. Thankfully, you’ll be able to unlock and unleash scores of different capy-powers tied to a range of different capybara heroes, each boasting unique classes, weapons, and combat style. Burn everything to ash or grab a lute and serenade those problems into eviscerated pieces. Never assume a bard is harmless.
This oddity is available in solo and co-op modes, meaning you’ll be able to share the experience with friends too. This might not be as expansive as that other big game being announced today, but it’s a wonderfully enthusiastic new edge for the genre that you can grab as it launches today.
