Nightdive Studios and Prime Matter have announced that System Shock Remake is now available for PC. Players can pick up a copy on Steam, GoG, or Epic Games Store for $39.99. The price includes a free copy of System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition, which will be released later.
The game’s remake is a fully-fledged reworking of the 1994 sci-fi classic and brings with it all the modern features today’s gamers expect. Developers released a new trailer to showcase the upgrades in the game. These include HD visuals, updated controls, an overhauled interface, and all new sounds and music. Players may even recognize the original SHODAN voice actor as she’s made a return for the retooled version.
