Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants Is Coming to Kick Shell on Console and PC

Wrath of the Mutants launch will bring the Turtles back to PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch on 23 April 2024.

If you’re looking to shell out some green on a modern arcade classic, then look no further. Publisher GameMill Entertainment has announced that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants is due to cowabunga onto PC and Console next month. The fighting foursome that regularly grace Saturday morning cartoon schedules will land with an expanded version of the 2017 Raw Thrills’ arcade classic. Taking on every possible shady villain that Coney Island, Dimension X, and more can throw at them Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo will have plenty to do if they want to take down the Foot Clan.

Relaunching a wildly successful arcade title from 2017 might seem like a bit of a money grab, but players picking up this re release will join the Turtles in an exciting arcade beat-em-up inspired by Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time. Playing solo or co-op, six stages and 13 boss battles unfold. Three all new stages and six boss battles are completely new, meaning fans get even more Foot to punch.

Fans of the on-screen antics will recognise more than the 2012 animation too. Familiar characters, backdrops, and enemies await. If you manage to collect enough tokens, you’ll even be able to summon some of them as backup during this adventure. The original 2012 voice cast even feature in this quest to kick shell.

Sure, there’s definitely a bit of nostalgia, but the Turtles beat-em-ups have consistently been break out hits. Whether it’s this  new arcade version or Shredder’s Revenge, fans the half shells will want to grab a slice of the action. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants will drop onto PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam for £24.99.
