The Spirit and the Mouse Now Available

The Spirit and the Mouse release

Alblune has announced that The Spirit and the Mouse is now available on PC and Switch. Players can purchase a PC copy via Steam or Epic Games Store. The Switch version is available through the Nintendo eShop.

The narrative adventure game allows players to experience the world on four tiny paws as a mouse named Lila. She has met Lumion the Spirit Guardian who has become earthbound. It’s up to her and her tiny (but big) mouse heart to help him return to the sky. To do so, she’ll need to restore light and hope to the people of Sainte-et-Claire. Lila will have to wrangle mischievous spirits called Kibblins. Doing so supports the community and brings hope in the darkness. This in turn restores Lumions power that will ultimately send him home.

After a shocking thunderstorm brings them together, unlikely allies Lila the mouse and Lumion the Spirit guardian must work in tandem to restore balance to their quaint village. Thankfully, Lila has her big heart and electrifying new powers to aid her on this journey. Guide her through a heartwarming adventure across Sainte-et-Claire to befriend playful electric spirits called Kibblins and illuminate this village once more.

According to the dev team, the game is a low-stress experience with beautiful environments and “a soothing piano-driven soundtrack”.
