This Bed We Made Lets You Snoop Around for Deadly Secrets

Lowbirth Games is giving PC players the opportunity to snoop to their heart’s content in This Bed We Made, now available on Steam. Players take the part of a 50s-era hotel maid who takes every opportunity to check out guests’ rooms for all their dirty laundry and deadly secrets.

February 17, 1958. Sophie’s shift at the Clarington Hotel begins like any other — until she opens the door to room 505, and a crimson light comes out…

In the real world, we are confronted with all sorts of opportunities to spy on others virtually. Whether it’s eavesdropping on strangers’ conversations, binge-watching reality TV, or just plain gossiping, we all indulge in the “art” of snooping. This game provides even more opportunities to become the snoops we were always meant to be.

Sophie is a 50s chambermaid with a knack for uncovering secrets. The more curious the player is, the more curious Sophie is as she collects clues to solve a crime. The best part is that the snooping is guilt-free. Along the way, players will need to solve puzzles and make decisions that have a lasting impact on the story.

Features include

  • Neo-noir Investigation: Discover a dark, mysterious, and intriguing story with a touch of glamour and murder as you explore three atmospheric floors of the Clarington Hotel
  • Guilty Pleasure: Explore your (in)discreet fascination with other people’s lives while you inspect their belongings in 360° and solve puzzles
  • Confidential Relationships: Form intimate bonds with hotel employees and guests, including your choice of ally between street-smart Beth and book-smart Andrew
  • Lifelike Consequences: Every action taken and every door opened can have an impact on how the story unfolds… including how you tidy up the rooms!

For those who prefer to try before buying, a demo is available on Steam that gives players a vertical slice of the game to explore.

Check it all out on the This Bed We Made Steam page.
