Torchlight Infinite Twinightmare, the latest season of the mobile first RPG, lands on 28 December.
Forget your New Year plans, get grinding and tale o the latest threat to Torchlight in XD’s latest update to Torchlight Infinite. Announced just before we all hit the out of office for the holidays, the latest update comes to PC and mobile devices in 2 days’ time. It follows on from the 2nd Season and will give us plenty to do as we try out a new hero, take on additional challenges, and loot the realm of dreams.
Twinightmare is set to add a whole new problem for the citizens of Torchlight. Players taking on this challenge will find themselves plunged into a dream realm. The strange landscape and unusual threats that lurk on the edge of consciousness can be pushed back. All you’ll nee to do is find the Dream Lotuses scattered across the land, unleash the monsters within, and loot everything they leave behind. Unfortunately, it’s not all that simple, the longer you spend in the dream and the more loot you grab, the bigger the final challenge facing you will be. If you can walk that line and get out alive then there’s a profitable season ahead.
New Characters and Content
Like any new season, there are new ways to cut down those problems. The Twinightmare Season Pass instantly unlocks Rosa the High Court Chariot. A formidable Hunter with high defensive capabilities, Rosa can survive even the toughest onslaught. When she unleashes her Holy Domain Skill, a transformation occurs. Rosa takes the form of an unstoppable chariot, blazing a path through enemy hordes and afflicting them with a powerful curse. You can also expect new skills like Whirlwind Blade, Lightning Beam, Star Stalker, and Harmonious Field for the rest of those heroes. You can check out the SS3 Expansion Preview stream for the info.
If you want to jump back into Torchlight Infinite, then you can try out the all-new Winter Festival. During the celebrations players can head to Torchlight Hideout, which will be covered in Ice and snow, creating the perfect festive vibe. Plenty of presents await. Have a look for exclusive event Snowflakes and exchange them for new Legendary gear.
