TRON: Identity Arrives on PC and Nintendo Switch

Tron Identity

Bithell Games has announced that TRON: Identity is now available on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch. Bithell developers collaborated with Disney to create a noir-inspired narrative adventure title based on the critically-acclaimed films. Players will be intrigued by challenging puzzles and will need to be on their toes. Every decision has a consequence.

To celebrate the game’s release, Bithell developers released a new trailer showcasing gameplay and the hand-crafted art design.

The game puts players in the virtual shoes of a detective program named Query as he investigates a theft from the Repository’s security vault. The answers to the crime reveal a much bigger threat to their world. As Query, players will need to interrogate suspects, solve puzzles, unlock secrets, and “even defrag corrupted Identity Discs.”

The location is a brand new, never-before-seen Grid “shrouded in uncertainty and long-forgotten by its creator, Kevin Flynn.” The location adds to the overall lore of the Tron universe, and players will meet a number of new characters.

Features include

  • A new extension of the TRON franchise – Unlock a never-before-seen server filled with new, original programs to join forces with or oppose.
  • Beautiful, hand-crafted character art – Watch the story come to life through detailed, uniquely designed characters.
  • Rich world-building and storytelling – In a brand-new Grid with its own nuanced structure, there is much to discover about the programs and places around you.
  • Reveal memories – The truth of the case is hidden in the Identity Discs of those around you. Defrag their Discs to navigate the complex path to a solution in these unique puzzles.
  • One mystery, many endings – Your choices will determine the outcome you see, with a protagonist that lets you take the reins and doesn’t corner you into one approach.
  • Developed by the award-winning team behind Thomas Was Alone and Subsurface Circular – Brought to you by a team steeped in sci-fi stories, we are incredibly excited to share this game with you.
