Genshin Impact players will have a lot more to explore thanks to the arrival of the v1.2 update that was released last week. In addition to the huge new area of Dragonspine to traverse, players will also find a pair of new in game characters to try out. Both Albedo and Ganyu are out that add new ways to experience the game. Lastly, players will be able to collect new equipment, test out new mechanics, find new artifact sets, head off on new quests, and much more.
Patch features include:
- Dragonspine location – packed with puzzles, new quests, and mechanics
- Subzero Climate – players will experience Sheer Cold that, when its limit is reached, will cause damage to health
- Frostbearing Tree that can be offered Crimson Agates for rewards including Acquaint Fate, Intertwined Fate, a wind glider, Mora, Weapon XP materials, Character XP materials, talent level up materials, and Gadget diagrams
- Blizzard Strayer and Heart of Depth artifacts
