Two New Free Games Listed at Epic Store

Similar to all of our other stories about Epic games and their free giveaways, there are two new games coming out for us to partake in very soon. Between April 14 and April 21 Epic users can claim and keep two games.

Xcom 2 is a tactics game that is highly touted as one of the best of all time. It takes place in a futuristic world and Aliens, not humans, control everything. Facing impossible odds you must rebuild XCOM, and ignite a global resistance to reclaim our world and save humanity. The maps are highly detailed and it has turn-based combat to test all of your knowledge of the game structure. For anyone who likes strategy games this is a must-try.

Insurmountable is a rougelike title where you are running around as a climber who scales large mountains. The weather is not always great but your will to reach the peak will push you forward. You must survive everything that is thrown at you as you move forward. It contains choice-based mechanics that will allow each run to feel more unique.

Choose one of three characters with different skills and background stories and start by climbing the first mountain. Search crates, caves and ancient ruins for equipment from past adventurers. You’ll need it, because even the first mountain will demand everything from you.

But don’t worry. As time goes by, you’ll become stronger and stronger. Take advantage of a sophisticated skill system to determine which strengths your climber should have.

Both of these titles become available to own for free starting on April 14th on the Epic Games launcher. Until then, players can claim Rogue Legacy and The Vanishing of Ethan Carter. If you haven’t downloaded it before then go ahead and do so now to avoid missing out on any more free titles.
