Nexon has announced the first details of the Warhaven global beta test. Players will be able to jump into the game from October 12th to November 2nd. The beta is available for all PC players via Steam.
Nexon has developed the game to “popularize multiplayer sword fight games” and offers players a unique take on the genre. 16v16 battles take place in all-out mayhem to determine the best team. During the beta, players will be able to select a character and build a squad with friends and players from around the world.
According to developers, the game is easy to pick up and play but hard to master. Everyone from the newest newbie to the most seasoned player will have a chance to become powerful supernatural heroes. Players will gain points for their team by destroying enemies and utilizing terrain to find and target weak spots. As they do, they will gain Immortal Power and transform into Immortals with transcendental skills. Enemies will want to target these Immortals before they wreak havoc on the battlefield.
Players will be able to choose from one of six available characters: Blade, Spike, Arch, Guardian, Warhammer, and Smoke. Each has its own unique weapons and skills and each offers players a way to choose their favorite playstyle.
During beta testing, players will have access to all six characters and four differnt maps. Each map has its own diverse objectives and features. According to information provided by the dev team, more maps will be added over time. This will keep gameplay fresh and challenging for all players.
