RGB Control Panel is coming to Windows 11 according to a recent Microsoft Blog.
Forget Copilot and AI enhanced Excel Features, Windows 11 is going to do away with the dozen or so custom RGB desktop add ins we all need. During last week’s Microsoft Build conference, a small paragraph slipped by most of us, that confirmed the new OS is centralizing the RGB experience. Titled Dynamic Lighting, the new entry for PC and laptop owners will allow users to effortlessly set up and customize their devices with RGB lights directly from Windows Settings.
This comes after a rumor last year, and a partial reveal in an early developer build. Now the official Build event blog confirms the feature is due to go live. Dynamic Lighting preview does not have a full release date yet, so don’t go deleting your monitor software or uninstalling Razer Synapse already. If you really want to get ahead, then this feature is coming to the Windows Insiders builds any moment now, and I can’t wait.
We’ll be giving this new lighting systema. Try and finding out what does and doesn’t work with it. Until we all get this RGB control panel then you can check out the plethora of RGB enhanced mice, keyboards, monitors, and even microphones we’ve had our grubby mitts on here at Gamespace.
