Zoria Age of Shattering Talks About Characters, Classes & Team Composition

Tiny Trinket Games and Anshar Publishing have shared a new blog post for the squad-based tactical RPG Zoria: Age of Shattering. It is dedicated to your upcoming duties and the companions that will accompany you on this journey. The times are hard, and the quest is challenging, so you must be extremely cautious when selecting who you will befriend.

As the devs point out, in Zoria there will be 10 different specializations of warriors that may join your team. The protagonist will play unique role as the commander, serving more as a support:

“Your followers are critical to the success of your mission. Whether recruited through the Inn or from various quests, your companions represent your most significant investment and resource since your adventure is squad-based, and only good use of the squad system can ensure success.”

Classes will include Kingsman, Lancer, Sentinel, Battle Cleric, Ranger, Thief, Wizard, Priest, Bard and Nightwarden. Additionally, there are objects that only a character with the right abilities can interact with. Hence, Battle Clerics can interact with Shrines of Nerdalye to replenish the party’s health. Meanwhile, Wizard can create magical bridges over which the whole team can safely cross to the other side.

Previously, the team has released a series of dev diaries to introduce players to some of the most important aspects of the game. Namely, religionoutpost management and combat.
