While the PC Building franchise has continued to prove that people love slotting things in holes and bending pins since 2018, the newest version of this cathartic and equally frustrating endeavor is probably going to leave players spoiled for choice. 1200+ components from industry giants like AMD, Intel, NVIDIA, and enthusiast brands like Thermal Grizzly will be on the shelves and fully stocked for engineers to use. Your epic gaming rig will look incredible too, with effortless water cooling and RGB that you can sequence, without having to worry about real life power consumption.
Of course, this is more than just a light show, the in game engineer will allow players to realistically simulate the performance of your own upcoming PC build and test them out by overclocking, upgrading and then testing designs in 3DMark and Cinebench. Once you feel like leaving the more sandbox elements of PC Building Simulator 2, you can take on a 30+ hour career mode all rendered with improved graphics, and I’m really hoping to see some ray tracing.
