Return To Gielinor With Runescape Fresh Start Worlds

Jagex has just booted up the perfect opportunity to return to a classic MMO with Runescape Fresh Start Worlds.

Get a new beginning in Runescape or return to a simpler time, with a brand new swathe of servers for the hit MMORPG. Starting today, and after a slight delay,  players who want to take advantage of a new opportunity can jump into the verdant untarnished shores of a server where they can begin anew. These worlds won’t allow players the opportunity to transfer their existing character, but instead the opportunity to relive the Runescape adventure.

Unlike Classic Runescape, the latest worlds are all about the journey. Kicking off with a brand-new economy, Grand Exchange, Hi-Scores, and an accelerated XP boost for fast leveling. Players can even return to the core game with their brand new character once the event ends. Over a four month players will rediscover the land of Gielinor as they return to landmark cities, memorable quests, skilling areas, and boss battles – all with accelerated XP and gameplay boosts

Of course, a brand new server means something else for MMO players. World Firsts are back for Fresh Start Worlds! Over the fourth month rebirth of Runescape on these instances, players can power through leveling and attempt to hit world first accolades. First to 99 and 120 in each skill, the first to achieve the Quest cape (all quests completed in the game) and the first to achieve the Max Cap will claim these prizes. Member bonuses won’t help so everybody is on the same footing for this race across the first eight weeks of the Fresh Start Worlds.

If you’re looking for a new old challenge then take on Runescpae’s untouched adventure once again, then transfer your character over to the main servers when Fresh Start wraps up. To find out more or grab Runescape on PC, Steam, iOS, and Android, head over to the official website now.

For those of you who I’ve not met yet, my name is Ed. After an early indoctrination into PC gaming, years adrift on the unwashed internet, running a successful guild, and testing video games, I turned my hand to writing about them. Now, you will find me squawking across a multitude of sites and even getting to play games now and then
