ARK Park PSVR Update Arrives With Free Locomotion And Improved Graphics

ARK Park: Dino Hoss

The PSVR version of ARK Park has now been updated. The new update includes free locomotion and a graphics improvement of 16% in the visual aspect of the game. The graphical improvements result in a more vivid and realistic dinosaur world without compromising the frame rate.

If you’re a techie you might be wondering how ARK Park was upgraded:

To give PSVR users a measurable improvement in fidelity, the developers experimented with an alternate rendering mode. The result was a small gain in resolution, more effective anti-aliasing, and a boost to bloom lighting as well. Snail Games also spent some extra time on particular maps to bring out the fine detail in each model and texture.

Other improvements were made to Teleportation and the Tutorials and of course Bug Fixes are included. The original teleportation method still remains but is an option and can be easily accessed in the system settings. Additionally, a tutorial was added that explains the free movement option for new players or those starting on a new playthrough from scratch. Other changes include – players are now directed to the tutorial/story mode, character creation interface and “fuzzy fonts” issues have been fixed and on the Gatling Gun the development team added an explanatory prompt.
