Beast Quest Arrives On Nintendo Switch This Fall

Beast Quest, the fantasy classic by Adam Blade, is jumping off the page and onto the Nintendo Switch on 15 November.

Following in the footsteps of other adaptations, Beast Quest is taking a leaf out of Fighting Fantasy’s book and turning towards the modern age. Published by Maximum Games, this news means that Nintendo Switch owners will get the chance to join Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC gamers in the mystical world of Avantia.

The latest version of this classic series is less of a dice roll and more of a dodge roll. Gamers stepping foot in this new interpretation of the classic will find a wealth of adventure as they journey through a variety of fully 3D open levels. Adventurers will come across epic boss fights as they block, dodge, and counter attacks in an effort not to be eaten, battered, or just beaten up by the local guards. However, you won’t be alone and as you venture out across the world. A range of exciting allies will join you on this journey. A new trailer joined this announcement for Beast Quest and things things definitely look like they’ve taken a step froward form the original illustrations. Towering castles, magical beasts, and verdant forests all look like a fantastic first step into this lore.

If you haven’t heard of Beast Quest before then you might have some reading up to do. The original book is now joined by over 150 others. Don’t worry though, this particular title is inspired by the adventures of Blade’s books not a direct translation. Old hands should find plenty of exciting things to do here too.

Beast Quest is about to bring adventure to the Nintendo Switch and you can check out the trailer above. If you are a fan of the series or just eager to get into a new adventure then head over to the official website to find out more information or pick it up on the Nintendo eShop.
