Bethesda Teases New Starfield Image

Bethesda is determined to keep the Starfield community begging for more by parceling out information about the game one image, one sentence at a time. To emphasize that point, the game’s Twitter account was updated yesterday with a new image that rhetorically asks, “What wonders will you uncover in distant caves?”

That’s it — no explanation. No other images. No nothing. The context of the image is left up to the imagination of the viewer.

Bethesda is keeping its “Skyrim in space” type game pretty much under wraps though it’s likely that we’ll hear a lot more about it during this year’s summer convention season, likely during E3 2022. In the meantime, we can probably expect more breadcrumbs leading up to the information dump in June and its release for Xbox and PC on November 11, 2022.

Starfield is the first new universe in 25 years from Bethesda Game Studios, the award-winning creators of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4. In this next-generation role-playing game set amongst the stars, create any character you want and explore with unparalleled freedom. Harnessing the power of next-gen technology and built on the all-new Creation Engine 2, Starfield takes you on a journey through space as you strive to answer humanity’s greatest mystery.
