Boundary Shoots onto Steam for April Early Access Launch

Boundary player hides in a space station

Boundary has a launch date and this outer space shooter goes into Early Access on 13 April via Steam.

Get set to conquer the fringes of our atmosphere when Boundary launches on Steam. This battle for high Earth orbit is coming to Steam on 13 April and blasting out of testing. While our first look was at a previous Gamescom, this news means that the competitive missions to capture space and defeat your friends is go.

“We’re thrilled to announce to our fans who have been waiting so long, that Boundary is finally ready to be played by you all this April,” said Frank Mingbo Li, Director of Studio at Surgical Scalpels. “We cannot wait for everyone to see just what we’ve been working on these last few years.”

Players picking up this outer space at venture will experience a multiplayer tactical space shooter. They can pick from a range of classes and fight over territory in the upper reaches of the atmosphere, experiencing fierce team based encounters in an unexpected environment. Like any astronaut in training, they will have their very own space suit. This EMU is customizable with an arsenal of modified weaponry. Long range snipers and close range attackers all have their pick of armaments and modifications to make the best of any scenario. While this all sounds quite commonplace for competitive shooters, the full 3D movement means weaving between solar arrays and through space stations makes this a uniquely compelling twist on Counter Strike and the rest of the shooter genre.

With threats coming from all corners, its up to you to decide how to conquer space in this team-based shooter. You’ll be able to pick up a copy in Early Access from around $24.99 or local equivalent when it goes live. Until then, find out more about Boundary now on the Steam Store Page.
