Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia the epic return of a much loved JPRG series, is set to hit PC platforms on 11 May.
If, like me, you missed the news due to real world gaming events last week then you’ve still got plenty of time before Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia makes the leap onto PC. Due to go live on Steam and making the port from console systems, this brand new follow up to a beloved Japanese RPG franchise is set to step out onto a turn based battlefield on 11 May. Coming in at $39.99/£30.99/€33.99, with a launch week discount of $15%, this port of the PlayStation and Nintendo Switch release means that players will get to step out into Runersia, a continent created by the Rune God. Here, magic, mana, and mystical quests await, all presented in a wonderfully updated package.
Across six nations, a handful of powerful Mana Stones lie serrated by distance and ideology. It is up to players to conquer the known world and maybe encounter the armor these special runes now inhabit. In order to turn a fledgling nation into a global power, players need to build an army. Choosing from one of six countries to rule, you’ll command knights, monsters, dragons, and more as you head out into battle.
This time around, Runersia is brought to life by an all-star cast of Japanese game developers, including writer Kenji Terada (Final Fantasy), art director and character designer Raita Kazama (Xenoblade Chronicles), and composer Sato Tenpei (Disgaea). Alongside amodern update on a classic grid-based battler, the PC version of this title adds even more to this tale. Creative Mode unlocks after clearing Main Mode once, allowing players to pick their preferred power balance and pick their battles with no time limit., while New Game + allows successful clears to carry over items into a brand new narrative. Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia delivers a classic and authentic JRPG experience along with hundreds of hours of enjoyment with a deep turn-based battle system, world conquest systems, and stunning new campaign. Check out the Steam Store page ahead of the 11 May launch.
