Moonglow Bay is about to open up for new residents with an announced release date of 7 October 2021.
Coatsink and developer Bunnyug are eager to invite players to join them in a laid back slice of life adventure when Moonglow Bay arrives on PC and Console later this year. The newly announced release date means players eager to get away from it all can put down the blaster and pick up a fishing rod on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One Consoles, Xbox Game Pass for Console, Xbox Game Pass for PC and Steam. The Epic Games Store version setting sail a little later on November 11th, but every version will make land at £19.99/$24.99 USD/€24.99.
Mixing together a cute voxel art style and a chilled soundtrack, Moonglow Bay takes players out into the islands on the edge of Canada. With rumors of fantastical creatures floating around this isolated island and a tourist industry that is on the verge of collapse, there doesn’t seem like much reason to seek out this once idyllic island. Now, it’s up to players to venture forth and revive this ailing town.
Similar to genre classics such as Story of Seasons, you’ll find more than just a town to explore. You will befriend locals and encounter strange fish, cook and sell a variety of recipes; acquire new equipment, such as rods and a fishing boat; learn to cast nets, set traps and fish through the ice. Over 100 aquatic species await out on those waves and a variety of story arcs are available to explore.
There’s tons more to do in this gorgeous-looking getaway, both in solo and co-op mode. To find out more about Moonglow bay check out the official website before it hits PC and Console in October.
