Popular blogger Crowbcat has returned after a year of silence with a new 41-minutes long video dedicated to CDPR’s open-world action game Cyberpunk 2077. The video shows the stark differences between what was promised by the developers and what was delivered as a part of the final product.
Crowbcat’s Youtube channel is filled with extremely popular videos reviewing and comparing many famous – or, rather, infamous – titles with their predecessors or the developers’ promises. Among them Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Mass Effect Andromeda and many others.
Meanwhile, Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier published an extensive investigation into Cyberpunk 2077’s disastrous rollout, calling out mandatory dev crunch, CD Projekt RED’s version of “Bioware magic”, E3 demo being almost completely fake and more.
Adam Badowski, CD Projekt RED Studio Head and Cyberpunk 2077’s director, has taken to Twitter to address some of the points from the article:
I’ve read your piece and tweets, thank you for the read. I have some thoughts. https://t.co/T3qACdrnwM pic.twitter.com/wuzy5lXoqQ
