Cyberpunk 2077 Expansion Revealed for 2023

Cyberpunk 2077 - Check Out Update 1.3 Patch Notes

While CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 had a rough start, the dev team has been making steady improvements to the game for the past year or so. Still, there’s a golden lining to the challenges the company has been facing. In the latest financial report, CDPR revealed that the game had sold over eighteen million copies and that an expansion is in the works for 2023.

Over the course of 2022, developers will be working on a number of projects including:

    • working on the Cyberpunk 2077 expansion
    • develop a new Witcher game in Unreal Engine 5
    • offer further support for Cyberpunk 2077
    • work on the next-gen console edition of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
  • development work at The Molasses Flood on an unannounced project based on an existing franchise
  • create a spin-ff to Gwent: The Witcher Card Game
  • continue support for Gwent: The Witcher Card Game and The Witcher: Monster Slayer
  • conceptualize and research unannounced projects

Those are lofty goals. With the recent struggles the company has been facing, it will remain to be seen how many of these come to fruition.
