In case you missed Friday’s foray into the world of Cyberpunk 2077, Night City Wire Episode 3 sent a few postcards for us all.
Dropping on Friday over of streaming and video platforms, the third entry in the Night City Wire series gave fans of the upcoming CD Projekt Red RPG a chance to ake a slightly deeper dive into their future dystopia. Before Cyberpunk 2077 hits PC and consoles on 19 November, gamers are picking up regular transmissions from CD Projekt Red’s Hollie Bennet. This time round, Night City Wire presented two new videos. This first of these is titled Postcards from Night City and is all about presenting never-before-seen locations and new personalities from the world of Cyberpunk 2077, along with extra slices of lore behind the most vivid and dangerous metropolis of the dark future.
The Gangs
The second of the two videos on display during Night City Wire on Friday focused on the Gangs of Night City. Gangs of Night City returns to a subject that has received repeated attention during other preview and Cyberpunk 2077 features. Gangs of Night City profiles some of the most notorious groups operating within and beyond the city walls whom players will be making deals with, fighting against, or both in order to survive.
This isn’t all that Night City Wire went into and alongside a developer interview and a case modding contest, CD Projekt Red dropped the PC requirements for Cyberpunk 2077. Thankfully, it doesn’t look like you’ll need to upgrade your rig to boast a new 3000 series NVIDIA card or make an AMD Big Navi upgrade to meet the recommended specifications.
Anybody packing a paltry 70Gb of SSD storage, an i7-4790 / Ryzen 3 – 3200G, 12 GB RAM, and a GTX 1060 / R9 Fury should be able to navigate the streets of Night City without any problems. I’m still grabbing an upgrade before I chose my side when Cyberpunk 2077 arrives on Xbox Series consoles, Playstation 3, and PC on 19 November.
