Darksiders Genesis finally has a release date. The upcoming dungeon crawler based on the Darksiders franchise looks like it will let PC and Stadia players take the first swing this December.
Developer Airship Syndicate and publisher THQ Nordic have confirmed that Darksiders Genesis is slated to hit PC and Google’s Stadia streaming service on 5 December 2019. Just in tie to bring some festive fight, the publisher behind the four horsemen is also dropping a brand new trailer for the game. Console players will have to wait a bit longer for their date with brothers Strife and War when this ARPG comes to all consoles on 14 February 2020.
Early Action Reduced Price
Alongside the new trailer and final dates, Darksiders Genesis is kicking off a pre-order campaign for this new adventure. PC pre-orders have kicked off and will include a 15% discount on the launch price. Stadia players might need to just shell out a bit more on top of that founder’s pack to get into the game before Christmas.
Set before the events of the original Darksiders, Genesis follows the fight of horsemen War and Strife as they strive to take on the plans of Lucifer. This demon king is set to topple the balance of power across the realms of man and myth. It is up to these two to stop him. The very first top-down adventure, it allows players to take on a huge variety of beasts and hot-swap between Strife and War. Players can take on hellspawn and Angels in a number of fashions, wielding wars mighty melee attacks of keeping enemies at range with Strife. We’d get into all the details but instead, you can find out how we got on with Darksiders Genesis, when we went hands-on with it at EGX, later today.
