Cyberpunk Cities, action, adventure and fantastic noodles await in the new demo for Death Noodle Delivery.
You could save the city, uncover a massive corporate conspiracy, or contemplate what it is to truly be human. You could just get Mr Chen’s cooking to the right place before the customer complains. Milan based developers Stupidi Pixel and Tiny Pixel alongside publishers Troglobytes Games, just dropped a Steam demo for the upcoming twist on future neon dystopia.
Available now as a free taster, this upcoming adventure demonstrates that not everything in your cyberpunk future is epic underworld gang fights and grand theft. Jimmy, a kid with a moddable hoverboard, is out to deliver take out. Unfortunately, that also means ducking from powerful weaponry, dodging incoming traffic, and evading hazardous chemicals without ruining an order. Your survival, and your career, hangs on an ability to navigate a range of glowing dungeon streets where all the usual cyborg problems await.
Something of a very modern twist on Paperboy, this low wage job still provides enough money to upgrade Jimy’s hoverboard. Along the way, you’ll be able to upgrade your hoverboard with unique abilities by hacking it, including the ability to deploy explosive cat bombs. Between the errant cybertrucks and AI drones, a dark secret lingers, and while we won’t get to uncover it during the demo, I think the glowing carnage is likely enough for now. The demo for Death Noodle Delivery is playable right now on Steam for PC and will be featured as part of the Steam Next Fest! The full game will release on PC, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation in 2024.
