Prepare to explore the future in a new story trailer for Flashback 2
Publisher Microids, studios Microids Lyon/Paris and Paul Cuisset proudly present a tour of the far-flung future. In the 22nd century, a classic franchise is reimagined, and we now have another look 2 minutes of Flashback 2.
The latest teaser to drop gives us yet another glimpse of a dystopian future. And the conspiracy that awaits. The look delves into the neon cityscapes and jungle beyond, as we follow Conrad B. Hart as he tries to remember exactly what is going on and stop the fearsome Morphs from enslaving humanity.
The upcoming story spans some familiar and new territories. We get a glimpse at the likes of New Tokyo, New Washington, and the Jungles of Titan in all their modern glory. Problems await, however. Conrad will need to use A.I.S.H.A., a lethal adaptive weapon enhanced with combat AI, to traverse a fluid 3D platformer as they try to overcome seemingly overwhelming odds stacked against them. Shot your way through New Washington or leap through the treetops in a brand-new incarnation designed and developed by the creator of the original, Paul Cuisset.
If you haven’t heard of Flashback, this classic sci-fi platformer came out to acclaim back in the old times. Generally considered to be far ahead of its time, it relaunched on mobile too. You can check out the upcoming sequel when it launches on 16 November. Flashback 2 will be available both in digital versions for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch and in retail versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch retail versions will be available on November 30th.
