Developer Blizzard Entertainment rolled out the patch notes for the upcoming update, coming to Diablo IV on all platforms on December 5th. In particular, this new patch will add the new endgame pinnacle dungeon, Abattoir of Zir.
Once players complete the Season’s Journey, they will unlock a recipe to craft a Bloodforged Sigil. Craft this at the Occultist to spawn the Visceral Channel in Ked Bardu which grants access to the Abattoir. You will have 10 minutes to slay the horrors within and defeat Zir’s loyal Bloodseekers to succeed. On completion of each trial, an even more difficult challenge awaits. The Bloodforged Sigil and Abattoir of Zir both go to Level 25, each increasingly more difficult than the last.
Other updates include:
- A full list of possible affixes can now be previewed in the Enchantment menu using the new View Possible Affixes button.
- Earned Glyph experience from most Nightmare Tiers was increased.
- Introduced further support for NVIDIA Reflex technology. Visit the in-game settings to enable this feature.
- Fixed an issue where the Screen Reader didn’t announce the required pacts for Vampiric Powers.
- Fixed an issue that made the Screen Reader malfunction on the Steam Deck.
- Various visual, performance, and stability improvements.
