EverQuest – Night of Shadows Expansion Launches

EverQuest Night of Shadows Launch

Darkpaw Games has announced that the latest expansion to its venerable MMO EverQuest has officially launched. Night of Shadows brings a host of new content for intrepid players to explore. Players can purchase any one of three game editions across several price points. Each version comes with the expansion and a variety of in-game goodies.

According to shadowy voices, key to surviving the unfolding events will be the Vah Shir. But how will any meddling in the affairs of the Great Spirits prevent all-out war? What happened to all the animal spirits that were sent to Luclin, and how does that affect what is about to go down?

Night of Shadows offers players more content to check out, including seven expansion zone where players explore more of Luclin to “calm the spirits.” Players are immersed in a brand-new story packed with tons of interesting quests along the way. New raids and missions will also keep any completionist busy. Those on the more visceral end of gameplay will be happy to hear that there are new spells, combat abilities, and AAs. Explorers will be pleased to hear about new collections to hunt up.

Anchoring Night of Shadows is the new Tradeskill Component Depot. Developers said, “Your account will gain a Tradeskill Component Depot that can hold 250 stacks of different tradeskill items. You can add slots with marketplace items as you need them! This depot is shared among your characters on the same account and server. It is like a shared bank. Each of these slots ignores the standard stack sizes and can hold significantly more of each item. Additionally, you can utilize these items anywhere in the world when crafting.”

Interested MMO players can purchase one of four different editions of Night of Shadows:

  • Standard – $34.99
  • Collector’s – $69.99
  • Premium – $139.99
  • Family & Friends – $249.99
