Aquatic bird fans and adherents of Bomberman will be thrilled to hear that Zordix and Purple Tree Studio have announced that Ponpu is coming to PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on November 5th.
The Duck-on-duck action game allows players to perform daring feats of mayhem at the behest of the Duck God. According to the game’s lore, every two billion years, the world must be remade after “divine destruction”. This time, Ponpu, the Duck God’s herald of destruction, has arrived but thanks to a nasty bump on the head, he seems not to remember what he’s come to earth to do. As a result, players find themselves battling against the Duck God’s commission and end up fighting against other Ponpu.
The game features:
- an expansive single-player campaign
- 10 challenging worlds
- “enormous, deadly, and grotesque bosses”
- 4-player local and online multiplayer in three modes (Coin Chase, Color Fight, Team Death Match)
