Genshin Impact’s 1.4 Update is live and is bringing the Venti back with a banner update.

Genshin Impact, the hit anime styled online RPG from miHoYo, is now live. Set to bring a whole ton of new content over its run, things have kicked off with the return of an old banner. Anybody logging into the wish themed gacha pull will notice that for the first time, Genshin Impact has a returning character banner, increasing the chances of pulling Venit. The mortal vessel of Barbatos, the Anemo Archon, Venit is an Anemo based character that players can pull if they chose to spend their precious Priomgem currency on in game gacha pulls. As a 5-star character, this makes Venti a powerful ally to place in your roster and a very difficult one to get.

The return of the Venit banner will increase the opportunity to pull the top tier Venti, as well as other 4-star characters Sucrose, Razor, and Noelle. While this might seem like a slightly downbeat way to kick off a new update, let’s remember that anybody with a Venti has been pulling against the odds to draw additional copies and unlock Venti’s extra boosts. This may turn out to be a welcome addition for those with the Windborne bard. If you’re more interested in weapon updates then you’ll be able to find the Epitome Invocation banner too, giving you a better chance of looting the 5-star bow Elegy for the End and the 5-star sword Skyward Blade.

This Venti re run is the first outing for the 1.4 updates, but there’s plenty more to come for players in Monstadt. Genshin Imapct’s central hub is set to play host to the Windblume Festival in a few days, peppering the online RPG with a ton of new seasonal events that might bear something of a resemblance to the recent lantern festival. To check out what’s coming, head over to our initial coverage of the Windblume Festival or head over to the official Genshin Impact website to find out more.
