Genshin Impact Version 4.2: Masquerade of the Guilty is out now! And with it, the new banner featuring no other than Furina (5-star Hydro Sword) herself. She is accompanied by Charlotte (4-star Cryo Catalyst), a journalist from Fontaine, and so there has never been a better time to learn more about their abilities. To bring players up to speed, HoYoverse shared the character demo trailers.
Furina is a character that uses the entire party’s HP to unleash attacks. She can use her Charged Attack to change her Arkhe and, at intervals, her Normal Attacks deal the corresponding Pneuma or Ousia-aligned Hydro damage.
Her Elemental Skill summons either the Salon Members or the Singer of Many Waters based on her current Arkhe. The former fight alongside the active character and, upon attacking, consume character HP to increase the damage dealt. The latter continuously heals nearby characters.
Her Elemental Burst causes the whole party to enter the Universal Revelry state. In this state, Furina gains Fanfare when character HP increases or decreases, increasing the Damage dealt and Healing Bonus of all nearby party members.
Charlotte is a Cryo character who can deal continuous damage to enemies and heal her party members.
Her Elemental Skill can be used to select targets and deal continuous Cryo damage to opponents using “Monsieur Verite”.
Charlotte’s Elemental Burst can restore HP to all party members and creates a Newsflash Field. It deals continuous Cryo Damage to enemies and restores HP to active character(s) within its area of effect.
