Dambuster Studios and Deep Silver have sent out a brand new gameplay trailer for Dead Island 2. This is the first time eager fans get a peek at how the action will play out. Viewers will see a vast array of weapons, brutal fighting styles, a number of Standard Zombies, and much, much more.
Slayer Dani anchors the trailer as she blasts her way through Walkers, Shamblers, Runners, Grenadier Walkers, and Apex Zombies. Hailing from the mosh pits of County Cork, Ireland, Dani is a tenacious yet balanced slayer. She’s perfectly suited to wend her way through vast numbers of zombies on her way to victory. Her goal in this trailer is to reach the Halperin Hotel in Bel Air, Los Angeles, California.
Players will also see how tapping into Curveballs and combining Skill Cards can assist Slayers as they hack and slash their way through the game. Skill Cards enhance normal abilities and offer players a way to create a unique build that suits their personal playstyle. Once a Slayer activates their Corrupted DNA and triggers Fury Mode, zombies better watch out.
Dambuster Studios’ dismemberment tech – known as FLESH (Fully Locational Evisceration System for Humanoids) – means that crushing bones, slicing zombies, and melting flesh has never felt nor looked so satisfying.
