Gadget-Bot Productions just unleashed a trailer, and an exclusive peek at the art of Kaidro: Clan Battles
Turning a hit web toon into a slick sci-fi ARPG, Gadget-Bot Productions is about to bring the world of Kaidro to PC. To prepare us for the inevitable action that’s about to unfold, the team behind this multiplayer brawl has dropped a brand new trailer, and given Gamespace a closer look with some exclusive artwork from Kaidro: Clan Battles.
Kaidro: Clan Battles is based on the Kaidro: The Awakening series and propels players into a story-driven, multiplayer ARPG. Based in a post apocalyptic sci-fi future, this universe mixes powerful mech pilots battling magic users. Focusing on clan combat, factions survive by capturing various objectives on maps while fighting off enemy teams. Incorporating a range of playstyles, mixing in a series of quests systems, and exploding into 3v3v3 areas filled with enemy factions and NPC problems, the action is likely to be intense.
Trailer and Artwork
The gameplay teaser is an opportunity for anybody new to this universe to take a peek a what lies in store. Featuring an aesthetic drawn straight from the web comic, the top-down action introduces powerful mechs battles. Picking from at three Spark-Suit mech types – light, medium, and heavy – with the ability to customize the weapon for each. You’ll need all the magic or metal you can muster, when hordes of life consuming creatures pour out of the Void and attempt to consume all life. The 107 second trailer looks at the action, customization, and clan system highlights the artistic pedigree of the team. Despite being brought to life using Unreal 5, the population of Kaidro could be torn right out of Republic City. A far flung sci-fi dystopian sister city, maybe. The mix of hand-crafted textures on 3D assets comes together to give us an epic trio of images, thanks to developer Gadget-Bot.
